Hi, my name is Rosannah. I've coached both professional athletes and regular folks for over 15 years.
In 2019, I retired from working full-time as a circus acrobat.  Performing internationally as an aerialist required ongoing resilience from my body. Having developed methods to succeed in my career, I now share this knowledge with others.​

I studied athletic techniques all over the world, including Ukrainian Gymnastics, Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release. My knowledge base spans classic anatomy, certification as a personal trainer, acupressure points, fascial kinetics and energetic work.

Functional Strength and Mobility.

My coaching technique focuses on whole body integrity, joint health and athletic longevity. Strength is always built in conjunction with mobility. This balance both protects joints and enables greater generation of power. An arm is only as strong as the shoulder and spine that move it. Using the whole body in coordination results in stronger athletes with more endurance and fewer injuries.

Compliments other Sports Training

Extreme sports or weekend activities can leave us stiff and imbalanced. My coaching provides holistic physical training that will keep you resilient for all your other interests.

Injury Recovery & Chronic Pain

Are you in pain? I have experience with injury and surgery recovery as well as healing numbness and chronic pain. Both new injuries and poorly healed injuries require specific attention and training. Relief is possible and your body is capable of much more than commonly believed. I provide both initial support for acute healing as well as a movement plans to deliver long-lasting relief.           ​

Handstands?

Yes, absolutely. I have been teaching handstand classes since 2019. Learn proper alignment while keeping healthy wrists and shoulders.

Already holding a handstand? Great! Come learn the straddle- press, stalders and 1-arm technique.  

More about functional strength & mobility:

Joints are where we bend, and therefore the key to our mobility. Muscles, fascia and connective tissue resist and allow movement across joints.
  • Too much movement across a joint causes joint injury and indicates weakness. "Wobbly weakness."
  • Too little movement across a joint is experienced as stiffness, pain and also leads to injury. "Breakable Brittle."
Functional Movement is just the right amount of movement: strong enough to be stable, mobile enough to be resilient.
When the muscles, fascia and connective tissue are coordinated and strong enough to protect the joints without limiting movement potential, you experience functional strength and mobility.
